Aidan and the Concept of Time...

The other day, Aidan was asking how long he could borrow a game from Grandma that she brought over to him the other day...
Aidan: So can I keep it until after Sunday?
Mom: Yeah, I don't think Grandma cares, because she is going on a trip anyway, so we can keep the game for a while...
Aidan: Ok, I'll borrow it until May.
Mom: Well, we're not going to borrow it that long. May is in the spring - that's when you will be almost 5.
Aidan: Oh, ok.

A few minutes later...
Mom: Monday will be the first day of October.
Aidan: Oh - October (pause) Is that when I will be 5??
Mom: No, your birthday is in July.
Aidan: July again????
