It is STILL raining in Texas. Jordan and Aidan made boats this afternoon out of stuff from the recycle box. Aidan wanted to add a ruler to his boat to be a "wave hitter" to hit the waves. We tried it, but it made the boat veer to one side...
After enjoying the boats for a while, we went to our neighborhood park (in the rain!). All of the bark has washed out of the playground, making it pretty much unusable. The creek behind the park has completely overflowed its banks.
I think it is safe to say that our Texas drought is over!
We need some of that rain! Oh, I miss the Texas storms and dark skies! :(
